Senior Manager Asset Management

The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Asset Management team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee the effective delivery of all applicable BC SPCA programs and services within designated communities/regions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams, budgets, and stakeholder relationships, with a strong focus on process improvement and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure seamless implementation and successful execution of all BC SPCA programs and services in the area.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage direct reports, including annual goal setting, performance management, and termination.
- Act as the community ambassador/representative of all BC SPCA programs, policies, and procedures, using effective change management techniques to ensure high rates of success in implementation and compliance.
- Analyze area performance in relation to defined metrics and provide feedback, guidance, training, and remedial action to positively impact results.
- Identify and respond to community needs, ensuring excellent relations and promotion of the BC SPCA's mission and services in the community.
- Ensure effective communication, coordination, and accountability of the Animal Centre in Large Scale Animal Intake (LSAI) files.
- Cover for other Senior Managers during periods of absence, as assigned.
- University degree in Business, Management, or other related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' related experience, including 3 years' experience in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Successful budget management, change management, relationship management, and customer service experience.
- Experience working in non-profits, animal welfare organizations, and/or with volunteers would be considered an asset.
- Strategic and creative thinker with a strong focus on process and continuous improvement.
- Valid Class N or 5 BC Drivers' License and driver's abstract.
- Computer skills – Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
