About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Almachar Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, as well as assist with feeding and hydration
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Support clients with mobility and exercise, such as walking and stretching
  • Administer medication and provide personal care, as required
Requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
