Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Humaira Shahzad. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook
  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic security clearance
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding
  • Work under pressure
Work Environment:

Our Home Support Workers work in a non-smoking environment and are required to provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 30 hours per week.
