Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Shafika Moustafa. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community facilities. You may also have the opportunity to work in a live-in capacity, with optional accommodation available at no charge.
