About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Ontario Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key leadership role in driving business growth and success.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail stores, including managing staff, implementing sales strategies, and analyzing market trends. They will work closely with our management team to develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 3-4 staff members and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of store operation.
  • Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand and develop effective sales strategies to meet those needs.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement pricing and credit policies that drive sales and profitability.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our products and services and drive foot traffic to our stores.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Determine staffing requirements based on sales performance and seasonality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a senior retail operations management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of store operation.
  • A strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads occasionally.
