Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Stonehaven Construction. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers to assist in construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Materials: Load and unload construction materials such as gravel, sand, and cement from trucks and other equipment.
- Operating Heavy Equipment: Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers to assist in construction projects.
- Maintaining Equipment: Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid operator's license and any required certifications for operating heavy equipment.
- Experience with Crane Operations: Experience operating cranes and knowledge of crane safety protocols.
- Knowledge of Construction Sites: Knowledge of construction sites and ability to work safely in fast-paced environments.
This is a physically demanding job that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
