**Position Description**

We currently have an exciting role for a Heavy Equipment Operator in our Red Deer, AB location. Come be a part of our rapidly expanding company.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Work along side management to efficiently complete work.
- Valid Class 3 or 1 license, with clean driver's abstract
- Operating track loader, bob cat, loader, excavator and roll off truck
- Proficient Experience using heavy equipment such as earth movers, Fine-grade experience with track loader, bob cat, loader, excavators, and other related equipment and attachments
- Operate the equipment in the right direction and angles to prevent accidents and damage of property
- Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks of equipment
- Ensure and manage machines or equipment in a safe and secure way
- Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws.
- Complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections
- Additional duties may be required

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of operating experience
- Class 3 or 1 with clean license abstract
- Experience in landfill/waste experience is considered an asset
- Leadership skill is an asset
