Addiction Counsellor Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Addiction Counsellor Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. As an Addiction Counsellor Specialist, you will provide comprehensive clinical counselling and therapy to youth and adults with problematic substance use or addictions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing prevention services by identifying ongoing prevention needs within the community
- Developing, coordinating, and delivering in-services, education sessions, presentations, and training
- Participating in the development and evaluation of clinic programs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or other health-related or social science discipline
- Two (2) years' recent related addictions counselling experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
As an Addiction Counsellor Specialist at Fraser Health, you can expect a competitive salary of $83,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
