Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Family Support Network team at Accoravillage. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of our family support programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of front-line staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop staff, including monitoring and authorizing records of staff hours.
  • Provide case management services to families, including liaison with referral services and communities.
  • Assume financial accountability for program expenses and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Participate in meetings, case management reviews, and conferences related to client and program outcomes.
  • Complete all required health and safety training and report workplace hazards and incidents to management.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Child Studies, or Addictions.
  • A minimum of four (4) years' experience working with young people and families.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly developed theoretical understanding of milieu therapy and clinical problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and clinical writing skills.
  • Personal suitability and ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
