Job Summary
The Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the Family Support Network program. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety Management System at Wood's Homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Support Network program, including supervising front-line staff and monitoring staff hours.
- Recruit and supervise staff, including conducting regular evaluations and establishing a training program.
- Provide case management services to families, referral services, and communities, in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Assume financial accountability for program expenses, including petty cash and direct client costs.
- Participate in meetings, case management reviews, and conferences related to client, program, and agency needs.
- Complete all required health and safety training and report workplace hazards and incidents to the Program Manager.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Child Studies, or Addictions.
- Minimum of four years' experience working with young people and families.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong understanding of milieu therapy.
- Critical thinking skills, clinical problem-solving abilities, and clinical writing skills.
- Personal suitability and a commitment to the mission of Wood's Homes.
