We are in search of a skilled professional to assume the role of Network Operations Leader within our growing IT division. Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, you will play a crucial role in designing, executing, and overseeing our network systems throughout North America. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of networking technologies, dedicated to enhancing network efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Architecture and Deployment: Lead the creation and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions to address BURNCO's evolving needs.
  • Network Oversight and Management: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot challenges, and take preventive measures to ensure reliable uptime and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a skilled team of network professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with other IT departments and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver network solutions that align with business goals.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain current network security protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Leadership and Skills:

To thrive as the Network Operations Leader at BURNCO, you should possess:

  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and empower your team.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex network issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Communication Skills: The capability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively with diverse teams towards shared objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within network teams.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
