About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Canada's Best Value Inn. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support Services: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
