Position Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Canada's Best Value Inn, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. Your efforts will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean furniture to ensure a tidy atmosphere.
  • Carpet and Upholstery Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change sheets to provide fresh accommodations.
  • Towel and Toiletry Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Linen Closet Management: Stock the linen closet to ensure supplies are readily available.
  • Lost and Found Handling: Manage and report lost and found items responsibly.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items promptly.
  • Debris Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Facility Sanitation: Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain hygiene standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
