Job Overview

At Canada Post, we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic mail operations team. As a Postal Clerk, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and processing mail items with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process mail items, ensuring accurate sorting and sequencing.
  • Operate postal equipment, including scanners and sorting machines, to efficiently process mail.
  • Transfer and load mail items onto postal trucks, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Complete reports and documentation, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Ability to lift mail items weighing up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
