About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vegetable Farm Worker to join our team at M&J Dhaliwal Green Acres Veg. Farms. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting, grading, and packaging of our produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting and harvesting
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, ensuring high-quality products
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, maintaining optimal growing conditions
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
Work Environment

As a Vegetable Farm Worker, you will work outdoors in a rural area, often in physically demanding conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of farm equipment and machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
