Job Title: Vegetable Farm Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Vegetable Farm Worker to join our team at M&J Dhaliwal Green Acres Veg. Farms. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vegetable farm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
  • Grade vegetables and fruits according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Weeding and harvesting crops
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Examine product for quality and readiness for market
Work Environment:

Our farm is located in a rural area, and you will be working outdoors in a physically demanding environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
