About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vegetable Farm Worker to join our team at M&J Dhaliwal Green Acres Veg. Farms. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting, processing, and packaging of our produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting and harvesting
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, ensuring high-quality produce
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, maintaining optimal growing conditions
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation
  • Examine product for quality and readiness for market
Work Environment

As a Vegetable Farm Worker, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often in rural areas. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
