About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vegetable Farm Worker to join our team at M&J Dhaliwal Green Acres Veg. Farms. As a key member of our farm crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective harvesting, grading, and packaging of our produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting and harvesting
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits, ensuring high-quality produce
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, maintaining optimal growing conditions
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation
  • Examine product for quality and readiness for market
Work Environment

As a Vegetable Farm Worker, you will work outdoors in a rural area, with regular exposure to the elements. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions, including repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
