About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing relationships and managing accounts of some of our largest affinity partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage key stakeholders and relationships both internally and externally to align on goals and objectives
  • Coordinate and deliver quarterly/annual reporting with group executive to review results and strategize for growth opportunities
  • Deliver fee/rate agendas across products, including managing key renewals and proactive group management
  • Be an expert in certain lines of business and sectors, as well as knowledgeable about other product offerings to promote to both member and executive level audiences
  • Manage customer and client escalations with group executive
  • Deliver on contract terms and marketing arrangements aligned to operational plans
  • Responsible for cross-selling/introducing all product offerings into existing groups
  • Leverage events as lead generation opportunities
  • Identify and have a pipeline of RFPs/market studies to partner with Business Development Consultants to respond and win
Requirements
  • CIP and equivalent designation is an asset
  • MBA would be an asset
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in P&C account management and business development
  • P&C and/or A&S Licensing and/or RIBO considered an asset
  • Experience in growth projections, budgeting, planning, and executing on marketing plans
  • Strong business acumen; proficient in Home, Auto, and Travel products, ability to identify business development opportunities and drive growth agenda
  • Relationship management; balance expenses while maintaining profitability
  • Ability to deliver difficult messages; rate increases, product changes
  • Problem-solving; navigate organization to find answers and solutions for clients
  • Data-driven; use data to drive client conversations and direction
  • People management & motivation; drive and motivate team to deliver top and bottom-line results
  • Microsoft Office capabilities; able to pull together reports, RFPs, and other required material to be shared both internally and externally
  • Strong communication; presenting at executive level, participate in different events and activities
