Job Title: Director, Strategic Accounts

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Strategic Accounts to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our Strategic Accounts team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and expansion of our largest automotive dealer groups in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and expansion of our largest automotive dealer groups in Canada.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Provide transaction and advisory support to our deal teams on credit structure, due diligence, and pricing to ensure deals align with our national strategy.
  • Maintain a database of pricing and structure comparables, acquisition multiples, and standardized marketing decks geared towards consolidators in the industry.
  • Assist in the completion of legal documentation as required.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and education to our teams to increase knowledge, confidence, and awareness of large deals to maximize market growth in each region.

Requirements:

  • Experience in cash flow lending and understanding of enterprise value-based credit structures.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability in business development and relationship management of clients with complex credit needs.
  • Results-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in business or commerce.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with cash flow lending transactions, including syndicated deal structuring.
