Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in promoting health and healing, providing education, and achieving optimum care for clients/patients/residents in all phases of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to clients/patients/residents, promoting health and healing, and achieving optimum care outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Conduct health assessments, identify health needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Provide education and support to clients/patients/residents, families, and caregivers, promoting health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS)
  • Valid driver's license, where required
  • Practical Nursing diploma
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently
