Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on various topics, including health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Registration: Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) and/or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
