Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing, Sales & Events Manager to join our team at Janevca Restaurant | Rosemead House. This exciting opportunity plays a key role in driving revenue and executing events, weddings, and operations for our luxury hotel and restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing, Sales and Promotion
    • Develop and execute targeted sales plans to drive occupancy for our hotel's 28 rooms and 13 long-stay units, and increase traffic for Janevca Restaurant & Lounge, focusing on market trends, customer segmentation, and partnership opportunities.
    • Utilize pricing strategies, promotional offers, and effective marketing campaigns to optimize bookings and revenue across all sectors.
    • Collaborate with marketing, internal operations, and external partners to build strong networks and consistently achieve sales targets.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and secure new business for weddings, events, restaurant functions, and corporate bookings.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, vendors, and corporate clients.
    • Conduct site visits, provide pricing quotes, and create compelling proposals for hotel, long-stay units, and restaurant offerings.
    • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets for hotel stays, long-term bookings, and restaurant events.
    • Build relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.
  • Event Coordination
    • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for their events.
    • Coordinate and oversee the execution of weddings and events, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
    • Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, service staff, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
    • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event completion.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Hotel Management
    • Assist the Hotel General Manager by overseeing hotel operations and staff management during their absence, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Front Desk Duties
    • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and provide guest services as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in hospitality, marketing, sales, or event management, ideally in luxury or high-end properties.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Expertise in sales strategies, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in event coordination and budget management.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, goal-driven, with a passion for hospitality.
