Job Overview
The Director Retail Accounts Quebec Market is a key role responsible for driving insurance sales and distribution strategies in the Quebec market. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the retail accounts team, ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders, and fostering growth opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Retail Account Oversight (30%): Manage and oversee key aspects of our retail account strategy, coordinate marketing allowance programs, provide support to Regional Vice Presidents on retail account issues, and ensure seamless firm and principal communication.
- Leadership in Sales Support and Strategy (40%): Develop, execute, and implement strategies to drive forward key initiatives with our retail accounts, coordinate national and regional events, deliver impactful training sessions, leverage deep product knowledge to create effective sales presentations, and enhance sales reporting for maximum impact.
- Account Management (30%): Provide dedicated account leadership for select firms, effectively onboard new firms, and proactively identify opportunities to support distributors and their advisors.
Key Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in the financial services industry with expertise in individual insurance products and sales strategies.
- Fully bilingual (French/English) with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Valid Driver's License and working towards or holding CFP, CLU, CHFC, CHS designations.
- Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and Canadian distribution landscape.
