Job Title: Utility Billing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Utility Billing Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for processing utility transactions and meter readings in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review meter readings and adjustments
  • Perform daily upload and download process for regular cycled meter readings
  • Investigate and follow up on reading exceptions and errors
  • Set up and schedule bill printing, e-bills calculation, and distribution of bills
  • Identify and distribute service order requests to the appropriate areas
Requirements:
  • Completion of secondary school or equivalency plus business/office/accounting administration courses
  • Minimum of 18 months of previous and on-the-job experience in business processes and customer service
  • Knowledge of computerized utility billing system and meter reading system
  • Ability to accurately perform complex mathematical calculations and collect, organize, and analyze data
