Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at Carrefour Laval Ray-Ban. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all optical quality controls are in compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently meeting and exceeding client service and sales standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
  • Expertly guide customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their lifestyle, wardrobe, RX, and price needs.
  • Ensure finished eyewear meets the Luxury Retail standard of flawless accuracy.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales and provide expert advice to customers.
  • Maintain presentation standards on the sales floor and back office.
  • Understand and support all Luxury Retail policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor Managers and Associates.
  • Support set-up and execution of all events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician
  • 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
  • Natural ability in building a client following
  • Sales Experience
  • Polished Appearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and result-driven
  • Computer skills
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
