Senior Design Manager

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join our Engineering team in Mississauga, ON.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and direct multi-discipline engineering/drafting teams to produce high-quality outputs that meet project requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Design approval of drawings, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Monitor progress and performance of project design teams and provide input, feedback, and support as needed.
- Prepare man-hour budgets and design schedules for Study/EPCM estimates.
- Facilitate design reviews throughout the project design development stages.
- Assist with pre-commissioning activities and manage field engineering.
- Manage subordinates' review of vendor-certified documentation.
- Follow and implement all relevant Company standards and procedures, ensuring design drawings comply with Australian and International Standards.
- Compile project reporting requirements to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide technical support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing and business development activities.
- Prepare design scope, budget, and schedule for written proposals.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the design team as required.
- Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience in Mineral Processing or Metallurgical plant design.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
