Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher Coordinator to join our team at 12030624 Canada inc O/A Deedar Transportation. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Accurate Records

Ensure that all work records and logs are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of shipments.

Assist with Equipment Maintenance

Provide support in maintaining communications equipment to ensure seamless communication with drivers and other stakeholders.

Dispatch Personnel

Coordinate the dispatch of personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that drivers are assigned to the most efficient routes.

Emergency Response

Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, such as inclement weather or unexpected delays.

Track Shipments

Monitor the movement of shipments and ensure that they are delivered on time and in good condition.

Regulatory Compliance

Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations.

Expense Management

Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure accurate accounting and budgeting.

Scheduling and Coordination

Schedule assignments and coordinate the activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Language

Fluency in English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
