Job Title: Food Packaging Operative

We are looking for a dedicated Food Packaging Operative to become part of our team at Poppa G's Quality Meats. The successful candidate will be required to work in a cold and moist environment, ensuring the proper handling and packaging of meat products.

Key Requirements:
  • No formal education, certification, or diploma is necessary
  • Previous experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies
  • Accurately measure and add ingredients into machinery
  • Manually package products into containers
  • Inspect items for quality assurance
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery and workspaces in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices
Essential Skills:
  • Understanding of food safety and handling protocols
  • Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) principles
Work Environment:
  • Involves repetitive tasks
  • Requires standing for long periods in a dynamic setting
