Food Store Manager

Bombay Mart is seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Hire and train new staff members to meet the needs of the store
- Authorize payments and manage store finances
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
- Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with company policies
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including office and volunteer staff
- 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments
