The Recreation Therapist provides interventions to groups or individuals in an inpatient, outpatient, or community setting, addressing patients' leisure needs and overall plan of care.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recreation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Recreation specializing in Therapeutic Recreation, be certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and possess knowledge of organizational Therapeutic Recreation assessments and processes. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with comprehensive program planning, risk management strategies, diagnosis-specific procedures, and responsive behavior plan development.
Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be compensated at a rate of $42.01 per hour. Our benefits package includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
