About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Galaxy Freightline Inc. as an Office Operations Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative assistance to the office team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
    • Ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, and carry out administrative activities of the establishment.
  • Policy Administration
    • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Office Services Coordination
    • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Experience and Education
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Language and Work Environment

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The work environment is a fast-paced office setting with a team-oriented culture.
