We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cashier & PCExpress Picker at No Frills. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the delivery of company-directed promotions and programs, including the selection and packaging of quality items for customers.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Keep the register area clean and stocked with essential supplies, and maintain a positive and organized workspace.
- Assist customers with general inquiries and provide solutions to their needs.
- Maintain a positive and respectful environment in the store, and contribute to a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.
- Select quality items according to customer request using the PCX system, and package groceries for hand-off and process payments.
**Requirements**
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Resourceful and courteous when resolving customer inquiries and issues.
- Motivated to learn new skills and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Able to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and able to move 25lbs and remain in a stationary or standing position for entire shifts.
