The Canadian Paralympic Committee is a leading organization in the Paralympic Movement, dedicated to delivering the best-prepared teams for games excellence while promoting inclusive communities through the power of Paralympic sport.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Athlete Services and Engagement, to join our team. As a key member of the Paralympic System and Services Division, you will work closely with athletes representing or aspiring to represent Canada at the Parapan American Games and/or Paralympic Games.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish and support Para athlete representation and direct voice in decision-making
  • Support mentorship and education opportunities, transition initiatives, and safe sport practices
  • Manage programming related to athlete and alumni outreach and engagement, athlete leadership, athlete wellness and safe sport, athlete requests, and all related athlete services programming
  • Manage the delivery of Athlete Services to the Canadian Paralympic Committee's Athlete Council, athlete representatives from National Sport Organizations (NSO), Alumni, and Family and friends' programming
Requirements
  • Master's degree in kinesiology, sports management, or equivalent experience in a similar position with a sport organization or as an athlete or a coach
  • 5+ years experience working in a leadership capacity in sport in Canada
  • Experience working in a National Sport Organization
  • Experience working in Multi-Sport Games environments
