Produce Department Supervisor

At Freshco Coliseum 8968, we are seeking a highly organized and reliable Produce Department Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our produce team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our produce department, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, train, and supervise a team of produce staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient department operations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise, and authorizing returns to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Establish work schedules, prepare sales reports, and resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory, supervise and coordinate activities of workers, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Ensure a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees by providing awareness training and applying inclusive recruitment policies.
- 1-2 years of experience in a produce or grocery management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliability, organization, and teamwork are essential for this role.
