As a Senior Financial Analyst at Amazon, you will be part of the Customer Fulfillment Finance team that is renowned for delivering exceptional results. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive cost controllership and provide business insights across multiple fulfillment centers.

Job Description

This role involves building financial models, interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. You will be responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced Excel functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interoperate data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
  • Financial Close: Responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced Excel functions.
  • Data Communication: Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
  • Cost Reductions: Collecting and analyzing quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions.
  • Finance Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

We require a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, along with 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

An MBA or CPA would be highly beneficial. Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses is also desirable.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include equity, sign-on payments, medical, financial, and other benefits as part of a total compensation package.
