We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planning Expert Leader to join our team at Arc'teryx Limited.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of Merchandise Planning strategies that drive sales, margin, and inventory optimization. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to build and execute plans that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, demand plans, and inventory projections to inform Merchandise Planning decisions.
  • Leverage data analytics and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with merchants, designers, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Lead the Demand Review process to analyze sales performance and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning and Global Planning teams to develop procurement strategies and manage inventory levels.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Merchandise Planning effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Math, Economics, or Business.
  • 5+ years' experience in Merchandise Planning or financial modeling, with a minimum of 2+ years' experience working in a vertical retail model.
  • 3+ years' experience in people leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a focus on driving results and improving processes.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $104,000 - $130,000 per year.
