Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Artisan Aesthetics. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our medical team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories.
- Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and confirm appointments with patients, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Complete Insurance Forms: Accurately complete insurance and claim forms, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Maintain Filing System: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Order Supplies: Procure and manage office supplies, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring timely restocking.
- Establish Office Procedures: Develop and implement efficient office procedures and routines, enhancing productivity and workflow.
- Enter Medical Reports: Accurately enter and format medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review.
- Initiate Confidential Files: Establish and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting is an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Electronic Mail, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook.
- Security Clearance: Must undergo a criminal record check.
