Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Artisan Aesthetics. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our medical team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories.
- Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and confirm appointments with patients, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Complete Insurance Forms: Accurately complete insurance and claim forms, ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
- Maintain Filing System: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Order Supplies: Procure and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, ensuring efficient office operations.
- Establish Office Procedures: Develop and implement effective office procedures and routines, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Enter Medical Reports: Accurately enter and format electronic medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review.
- Initiate Confidential Files: Establish and maintain confidential medical files and records, ensuring secure and accurate storage.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Electronic Mail, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
- Transportation: Public transportation available.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, and team player.
