The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our AML Financial Crime Risk Investigations team, you will be responsible for supporting procedural and job aid updates, centrally managing procedures, and identifying opportunities for standardization and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and amending procedure documents and job aids based on information received from AML Financial Crime Risk Investigation teams.
- Ensuring timely communication of all impacted procedure updates to various Financial Crime Risk Investigation teams.
- Maintaining historical repositories for all FCRI procedures and job aids and effectively tracking proposed changes for Senior Management reporting.
- Completing an annual gap analysis of procedures against refreshed Standards to ensure alignment of documents.
- Drafting and submitting policy exceptions and risk-based decisions to executive leadership on behalf of FCRI.
- Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet internal benchmarks.
- Leading and assisting with assessing Key Risk Indicators to identify opportunities to enhance the program.
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks; providing regular status updates, escalating key issues appropriately, and proposing solutions and remediation plans.
- Keeping abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and understanding potential impacts.
- Consistently exercising discretion in managing correspondence, information, and all matters of confidentiality.
- Maintaining a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with the company's risk appetite.
- Participating fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
- Participating in personal performance management and development activities.
- Contributing to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.
- Acting as a brand ambassador for the company, internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with AML and ATF fields and applicable policies and regulations.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to review documents, analyze data and information, and generate insights.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain agile and pivot tasks based on business requirements.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of various bank products, services, and applications would also be considered an asset.
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma (or equivalent).
- 3+ years of AML compliance experience in the financial services industry or equivalent.
- CAMS certificate is an asset.
