Job Description

As a Catering Experience Coordinator at Dexterra Group, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through our catering services. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of catering operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and performance.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires:

  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events, including venue setup, equipment rental, and staffing.
  • Menu Development and Execution: Develop and implement new catering menus, work with chefs and culinary staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
  • Staff Management: Manage a team of catering staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Five years of recent related experience in the food service industry or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • ServeSafe and/or FoodSafe certification with thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Superior communication skills in verbal and written English.
  • Able to effectively handle employee, customer, and client concerns while adhering to confidentiality policies.
  • Highly organized with a strong focus on quality.
