Nurse Team Leader

The Nurse Team Leader will oversee the implementation of client care plans, provide training and evaluation of care provided by staff, and advocate for changes that improve client care.
In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse Team Leader will perform assessments, make nursing diagnoses, implement and provide personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.
The Nurse Team Leader will operate in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.
This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent and temporary positions.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings; rotating from 06:30 to 14:30, 13:00 to 21:00, 14:00 to 22:00, 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
