Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Victoria Education Centre. As an Early Childhood Program Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement child-care programs that promote healthy growth and development in children
  • Lead activities that foster creativity, curiosity, and learning through storytelling, music, and play
  • Encourage children to express themselves through art, drama, and other forms of self-expression
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children by planning meals, arranging rooms, and enforcing good hygiene habits
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community service providers to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices in early childhood education
Certifications and Qualifications

A valid membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) is required for this position. A strong understanding of child development theories, curriculum design, and educational pedagogy is essential.

Work Requirements and Physical Demands
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as preparing materials, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
  • Bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods while interacting with children
  • Walk, run, and engage in physical activities with children outdoors
