Job Description

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the well-being and development of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing songs, and engaging children in creative play.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums such as art, music, and drama.
  • Assist children with daily routines such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a safe and organized environment for children.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and challenges faced by children.
Requirements
  • Certification in Early Childhood Education (CECE) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift children and engage in activities that promote physical activity.
Working Conditions
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling may be required.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
