We're seeking an experienced Digital Communications Lead to join our Personalized Content Team in Toronto. As a Senior Account Director, you'll oversee campaign delivery for eBay and lead a client services team. You'll be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, and project teams, ensuring successful campaign outcomes.

About the Role

This is a 6-month contract role that offers a flexible, hybrid working policy. As a Digital Communications Lead, you'll work closely with senior clients to develop annual strategies, oversee content development, and manage briefs from start-to-finish. You'll also liaise with clients, communicate feedback, and ensure brand protection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual strategies for senior clients
  • Oversee the development of digital content (creative, production)
  • Lead and motivate a client services team
  • Manage briefs from start-to-finish, ensuring timely delivery across multiple campaigns
  • Liaise with clients and manage expectations
  • Communicate feedback to designers, copywriters, and developers
  • Ensure feedback requirements are met while protecting brand values
  • Plan and manage team workloads, keeping stakeholders informed
  • Build a deep understanding of clients' businesses, strategies, objectives, brand, audiences, and challenges
  • Maintain a strategic overview of assigned accounts, running regular internal reviews

About You

  • A fast learner with a solutions-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Experience delivering a broad range of multi-channel marketing communications, including digital and direct
  • Extremely organized and able to prioritize projects, partnering with other teams and clients to manage expectations
  • Able to talk about tools and processes used for project management, creative approach, or business strategy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with ease and efficiency
  • Deep understanding of production and interactive processes and experience reviewing creative
  • Commercially driven with experience handling budgets and timelines
  • Proven business development experience and success
  • Resource management skills and ability to handle complex/sensitive issues
  • Experience leading others directly and managing a team
