We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Birth Unit at IWK Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, family-centred nursing care to patients in the Birth Unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Registered, or eligible to be registered, with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required
- Recent Birth Unit experience an asset
- Acute nursing experience an asset
- Current successful completion of a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Basic Life Support Level (BLS) Program within the last 12 months, or successful completion of a BLS Renewal Challenge Certificate, required
