Dillon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer-in-Training to join our team. As a key member of our transportation group, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing transportation projects that shape the future of our communities.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on a wide range of transportation projects, from preliminary design to contract administration. You will be responsible for:

  • Designing transportation projects, including road networks, intersections, and public transit systems;
  • Preparing technical reports and studies to support project development;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Contributing to business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation;
  • Participating in learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in civil or transportation engineering, or a diploma in civil engineering technology;
  • Licensure as an engineer-in-training in Ontario, or eligibility to be licensed within six months;
  • 3-8 years of experience in consulting, preferably in transportation engineering;
  • Strong knowledge of municipal/provincial engineering standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and working knowledge of Civil 3D, Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, or InRoads software.
