Baker Tilly KDN is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant, Co-op. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience and skills development in accounting and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist senior staff and partners on various assignments, including audit duties, financial statement preparation, and tax returns.
- Develop and maintain accounting systems, prepare financial information, and examine accounting records.
- Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients, and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Actively pursue self-development opportunities, build strong working relationships, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian academic program and returning to studies.
- Business or accounting degree, with a focus on technical knowledge and skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a positive can-do approach.
- Attention to detail, creative problem-solving ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
