Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive work environment, and support each other in times of need.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Accuracy: Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and inventory management.
  • Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
