Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in promotional activities and maintain a positive attitude towards customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and bending, crouching, or kneeling
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
